Tom McGlaughlin is a Pennsylvania-based attorney with a distinct edge: he’s spent nearly two decades blending legal, entrepreneurial, and leadership experience to serve clients in a way that’s practical, accessible, and deeply personal. He launched Northstar Legal Services, LLC to offer client-focused legal services in three key areas—real estate law, estate planning, and business formation—where his insight and experience make the biggest impact.

Tom earned his J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School, building a foundation in transactional law, contracts, and civil procedure. Before and during his legal education, he spent over 15 years in the business world, giving him a firsthand understanding of the complexities clients face when starting a company, managing financial risk, or transferring property. That background allows him to speak the language of both law and life, making legal concepts understandable and actionable for his clients.

As a solo practitioner based in Elizabethtown, PA, Tom works directly with every client. You won’t be passed off to a junior associate or paralegal.
